Thinking Portfolio’s project portfolio brings transparency and effortless resource planning to the diverse organisation of the Natural Resources Institute Finland

Luke has implemented the Thinking Portfolio project portfolio under the name “Projektori”. After the deployment project, the portfolio has so far been presented in different ways to some 500 users. Training and presentation events have been arranged for them, as well as support for those who have updated their own project information in the portfolio. “In the context of this effort, it has become very clear that the acquisition was the right one, as there clearly is want and need to deploy the portfolio,” says Laura Kitti, Manager of the Luke Project Centre, whose area of responsibility covers the deployment of the Thinking Portfolio project portfolio, as well as the implementation of the new project model.

The collaboration of the Finnish Tax Administration and Thinking Portfolio results in agile and fast deployment of a project portfolio

The technical part of the Tax Administration’s project for deploying the Thinking Portfolio project portfolio is completed. Suominen’s project portfolio acquisition process started from the requirements of an extensive development project, the cost-effectiveness program Optima. The Optima program involved dozens of different programs and projects of various sizes. In the initial phase of Optima, it was stated that it is necessary to say goodbye to the “Excel era.” Following Optima’s example, the Thinking Portfolio project portfolio was also launched by Suominen’s R&D development projects, growth investments, and ICT, whose projects were previously managed using Excel and Word as well.
